Great little suburban Italian pizza restaurant. Super friendly service with a great selection of pastas and pizzas. We orderef a New Orleans puzza with a rocket pumpkin salad...delish.....Great on a summers night, open and airy. Relaxed atmosphere. View all feedback.
What Diana Constantin doesn't like about Tomato Brothers:
Friendly service in a large airy space. Maybe a little too airy as it was a chilly evening. They did close up the blinds, but still was a tad cool. Pizzas were out in about 20 mins piping hot the crust was delicious. (wood fired)Topping could have done with a little more oomph or spice, but liked the fact they were easy on the salt View all feedback.
I dined at this restaurant recently and found the service to be excellent. We were seated promptly and never had to wait long for assistance. However, I was let down by the quality of the food. Both the calzone and the pizzas had excessive amounts of cheese. While the pizzas were decent, they lacked flavor and were quite basic. Additionally, the restaurant's location on a main road with the awning up meant that we could hear traffic throughout our meal. Overall, I probably won't be returning to this establishment.
The restaurant has a pleasant ambiance and the staff is friendly and consistently helpful. I always enjoy their delicious pizzas with generous toppings. The pastas are decent, but not my favorite. The entrees are extremely tasty. Overall, I always have a great experience at Tomato Bros. restaurants.
I haven't tried much yet, but I had the Prawn Carbonara and it was delicious. I can't wait to try more dishes from this restaurant.
I have never had such a terrible pizza in my life! The crust was undercooked and seemed like it was store bought. The ham was likely the lowest quality available and was clumped together instead of evenly spread on the pizza. There was barely any cheese to be found. The pasta was also subpar. The wait time was extremely long. I will never go back and definitely do not recommend it.
I really enjoy the pizzas at Tomato Brothers! I have a particular fondness for wood-fired gourmet pizzas. Although Newcastle may not be known for its pizza, I used to frequent a fantastic wood-fired pizza spot before moving to Brisbane. I struggled to find a suitable replacement until I discovered Tomato Brothers. I was thrilled to also find out that they offer cocktails. So far, I have only tried a few items on the menu, but everything has been delicious. My favorites include the bruschetta, raja tandoori pizza, and parma nova pizza. The toppings are fresh and the wood-fired taste and aroma are unbeatable. The pizzas are crunchy and bursting with flavor. I am looking forward to trying their banquets, which are only $25 per person - such a great deal!
