Was Anonym at Kelly's Kitchen Pub a mag?
Visited with a group of friends during the busy Canada Day weekend. Was pleasantly surprised when the owner/proprietor of the pub took the time to sit and share some conversation and jokes with us. The chicken pot pie is the best!! This is an excellent addition to downtown Bracebridge. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Kelly's Kitchen Pub:
Went there for dinner on long weekend with family of four. I had bison appetizers, wife had fish and chips, the boy had chicken wrap and father in law had liver and onions. No appetizers no desert and bill was $115. Oh and 3 beers. Food was good portions were OK. Good pub and staff was nice. Nice to have pub with no TV so you actually talk. View all feedback.
Not awful but not great. Standard pub food but not very fresh ad seems largely to be pre-cooked and then microwaved before serving.
This is a fabulous restaurant on the main street of Bracebridge where Marty's butter tarts used to be located. We stopped in for a late lunch and we were impressed with the renovation, food and service. There is a large bar area with seating and more tables upstairs. The lamb stew was delicious with a choice of a small or large bowl. Served with Irish soda bread. Great place to stop while exploring the shops on Manitoba street.

Went to this pub on June 30th. Showed up around 9pm just looking for s quick bite before going back to Toronto. They were on their late night menu but allowed us to order from their regular menu. We order salmon and a roast beef dip. The salmon.....cooked to perfection. The dip....shaved prime rib and a rustic potatoes leek soup as a side which was to die for. Now....I know food. I'm a chef and I know my stuff. The staff was polite and attentive. I spoke to management about the quality of food and she was grateful. I spoke to the chef and he too was grateful. AMAZING FOOD. Fresh, made on site, made to order. The show that night....Out Of Control a U2 experience was incredible. I memorable night. So to all you who didn't like the food here...either it was an off day in the kitchen (which happens) or you don't know good quality and are just difficult. This place is a great stop.
A perfect pub, right here in Bracebridge! The decor is exquisite and will keep you occupied, while you wait for a Guinness, admiring the details in hand woven iron railings, the beautiful tin ceiling or relief carvings hidden in the walls. Apparently Patrick borrowed ideas from the best Irish pubs around the world, such as the no two the same colourful seat cushions, taking from a post war Moscow local, which was done to add colour in the drab Soviet era. The food we've tried is tasty. Loved the steak and kidney pie. My wife raved about the shepherd's and chicken pot pies and according to our son, they make a fine Poutine (that old Irish standby . The oils still a little too fresh for the fish'n'chips, for my liking though. : Ultimately a good pub can only be measured by its friendly staff and from that perspective, we think it's a winner! Patrick Kelly the owner knows how to take care of his customers. I'll be happy to have him pour me a perfect Kilkenny in his perfect pub anytime.
