great place to take my little children to dinner! my children are currently 2 3 and we never come to dinner. that was perfect because they were entertained a lot while the dinner was made! then they brought her to eat! my 2 year old kept the greatest part of his dinner on the table, which is an improvement! he must do everything himself, or he would actually get more into his mouth. many thanks to all those who are s... What Eugene Agaba doesn't like about Wasabi Japanese Steak House:
The sushi was good but we ordered Hibachi from the regular dining side since their Hibachi side was only for reservations and it wasn'tvery good at all. We paid $28 a piece for about $15 worth of food and it wasn't seasoned. The service itself was fantastic but we definitely won't be going back. View all feedback.
Wow, great quality for great prizes! crazy good sushi, great time yum! the prizes are way better than some other sushi joints in the opposite the sushi board below was $40 (at happy hour! amazing staff, (shout to rylee! and a beautiful location. we recommend the vulcan, shrimp tempura and the philadelphia! the ate is the bomb. com was very much blown away by the taste and the amount. I've never been full of sushi!
I am so impressed by the customer service we have experienced tonight. we went there early because it was the 6th birthday of my sohne and it is his favorite place to go and watch on the Hibachi grill. when we arrived there, they were short occupied and already booked on the hibachi page. when they found out that it was the birthday of my sohnes, they called some people on the reservation list to see if everyone was still on that and a group was not able to do it and so they pushed us on their place. my son was totally thrilled. this generous cusyomer service experience will stay with us for a long time and we will be back again and again. not to mention was eating fantastic and the hibachi cook was fun and cheerful as always.
It’s hibachi *shrug*. Definitely had better but the experience is fun. Drinks are delicious and strong but take a while. Food is regular hibachi price and medium hibachi quality. Sushi is… alright. Not amazing, not bad. We keep coming back !
I 'm really torn on this review. Unsure whether to give 3 stars as benefit of the doubt or 2 stars. I hate giving poor reviews. Staff was great. Mostly the food wasn 't terrible. Took my 14 year old daughter to Wasabi for her birthday dinner. Neither of us had been there before. I 've been craving sushi for a while. I figured a Japanese steak house that serves sushi should be safe, right? I 'd heard mixed feedback on Wasabi from friends and coworkers. I ordered spicy tuna, spicy yellowtail, and spicy salmon as a combo meal from the entree menu. See photos attached to review. Presentation was disappointing. The fish... was colorless. You literally cannot identify the fish as being different. Honestly, they tasted the same too. And, as a guy who likes very simple sushi without lots of extra flavors, sushi grade Tuna doesn 't have a distinct taste. What I ate here tasted like canned tuna. Like, when you make a tuna sandwich. If I wanted a tuna fish and rice roll I could make it at home. This is not sushi grade fish that I was served. And if you look close you can tell the fish was minced and mixed with something. Seriously. The lunch sushi boxes at the local grocery stores is better. I 'm not exaggerating. Oh. There 's also nothing spicy about these spicy rolls. The miso soup. That was unimpressive as well. Not terrible. But certainly not a good miso. The kids seemed to like their meals just fine. They all left full. I did not try their food so I can 't review that. The men 's room. There 's a reason the lights are on a dimmer. The walls above the urinal are disgusting. Do people spit on the walls in there often? Or have they never, ever been washed? I left the men 's room thinking one thing. You can tell a lot about a restaurant 's kitchen by its bathroom. This is not fine dining. The table tops look worn in the center. The fake bamboo plants between seating sections look like PVC pipes painted green with 80s style plastic leafs stuck in them. We didn 't get to experience the hibachi table since we didn 't have a reservation. Hopefully that would have at least added some fun to it. The best thing about my visit was having a Madison River Brewery beer in a Madison River Brewery glass. In the end. I can say I 've been to Wasabi. But I can also say I don 't have a desire to go back.
We have the love boat so sweet! our server, rockford has also made our night complete, grateful for such a wonderful service. will definitely come back for another sushi date.
