What timmer92211 doesn't like about Shine Beer Sanctuary Bottle Shop:
To be exact, I was at Lapa Grill, not Shine. Three stars because I asked for less rice, and got the same huge ladle of rice always dispensed-enough to feed a small village, and far too much to be in a Burrito. Time to turn down the overhead music, and focus on the customer. Please. View all feedback.
As another reviewer pointed out, the address for LaPa Grill is incorrect; they are located at 451 East Main St. I stopped by to pick up some takeout for dinner. I ordered their "build your own bowl" for about $7, which includes rice, beans, and a variety of toppings. It's similar to Chipotle, but they offer a delicious wild rice option that I really enjoyed. Additionally, I got a side of nachos and salsa for around $6, which felt a bit pricey for just a bag of nachos.
This restaurant truly deserves a standing ovation. It's a rare find where every visit feels like a home run. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, complemented by an impressive selection of beer and wine. The staff and owners of this grill and beer haven are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable; they genuinely enjoy their work and are eager to assist you. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between casual and comfortably well-appointed. Don't miss the retail section, featuring mugs, t-shirts, hoodies, and more to commemorate your visit. Make sure to experience this gem for an outstanding overall experience. Cheers!
We had quite a time locating this restaurant, as the address listed on Babcock turned out to be a vacant lot. The actual location is on Main and Church. We tried the BBQ burrito and the Jambalaya burrito, both of which offered very distinct flavors that we really enjoyed. The menu allows you to choose between a burrito or a bowl, and they also offer tacos. The style is somewhat similar to Chipotle, but with a range of unique options and beer available! They kept the tables clean after each use, and the staff wore masks. The burritos were enormous—definitely a great spot for lunch!
I once fantasized about the Blackwater Bayou wrap during sex. If that doesn't tell you everything you need to know... Great beer and kombucha selection.
Had rude service and rushed me to make my order. The staff had lots of eye rolls and sighs.
