Steak 'n Shake - Boynton Beach

I typically have a great experience at this restaurant, so I'm not sure if this visit was just an exception. The burgers were cooked adequately, but the buns and cheese were icy cold. On the bright side, the shakes were delicious.

The tables needed to be cleaned. I ordered a regular burger and one without a bun. When our food was ready, it was placed on the counter, but the server called our number and disappeared before we could reach it. I needed at least a fork to eat mine, so I had to shout to get someone’s attention for that and some ketchup for our fries. The iced tea tasted like tea-flavored pool water. It has been about five years since we last visited a Steak 'n Shake, but it was in another state. I don’t think we’ll be coming back again.

I had a frustrating experience at this restaurant. When I ordered the Frisco melt, it wasn’t cut in half like it should be. The shakes were disappointing as well—half melted and lacking flavor. It seems like they might need new staff, as they don't seem to know what they're doing. I’m giving this place three stars, but honestly, I won’t be returning anytime soon. The food was greasy, and the shakes just weren't tasty. Overall, a bad experience. So, three stars for this visit.

The restaurant offers picnic-style tables and has a self-service setup. You can enjoy your meal without making a purchase. I tried the cheeseburger, and it was excellent!

The burgers are tasty, but they don't quite match the price. If you're looking for quick service, I recommend going elsewhere. My wife and I waited about 10 minutes for our order. On the positive side, the staff is friendly, and the restaurant is well-maintained.
