Alpine Chocolat Haus - Boyne City

This business needs to be cleaned! We stopped by the shop for a sweet treat and we were so disappointed in the appearance and cleanliness of this ice cream shop that we turned around and left. The sidewalk and table area was filthy with melted ice cream and soft drink spills. As you walk through the door, flower pots were filled with dead flowers that were beyond salvaging. We have been coming to Boyne for 30 years and it saddens me to see this shop in such a neglected condition.

Friendly staff, tons of options, and probably the best strawberry malt I've ever had. We stopped in after having dinner nearby and everyone loved it. The prices were reasonable for a touristy lake town, which we expected. They have tons of stuff other than ice cream like fudge, rock candy, popcorn, etc. Definitely worth stopping in!

Stopped in after a day at Deer Lake and the ice cream flavor selection amazing and it was utterly delicious. The espresso truffle was the best!!! They also had incredible selection of candy and chocolate!

**Service:** The staff member on duty that day was incredibly sweet. She greeted us warmly as we entered and informed us that she would be with us shortly as she attended to other customers. We took our time browsing the shelves and sales before making our selections, and when it was time to pay, she was cheerful and friendly. **Products:** The treats here are all delicious and satisfying. Everything we tried was fantastic! **Overall:** The excellent service truly enhanced our experience. Kudos to Alpine Chocolat Haus for hiring such a wonderful employee who clearly enjoys her job; it really shows!

I visited this shop hoping to buy some chocolates and caramel corn, but unfortunately, the caramel corn was only available prepackaged, so we decided to stick with the chocolates. When we finally managed to get the attention of the one staff member on duty, her attitude was curt and unhelpful as she explained the prices of the candies. After leaving and processing the unpleasant service, we turned our focus to the chocolates, thinking they would brighten our day—after all, who doesn’t love chocolate? However, we were left quite disappointed by the lack of quality, consistency, and flavor. The pricing of your candies needs improvement; it's clearly confusing for customers, and it seems like your staff is weary of having to explain it over and over.
