I’m honestly puzzled by the previous reviews. The menu has changed, and several items listed on their website are no longer available. When we mentioned that we had come specifically for certain dishes, the waitress simply replied, “Oh, we change some as we like,” with no apology. The food lacked balance and was either excessively sweet, overly sour, or just didn’t make sense. Unfortunately, our expectations for a lovely evening were not met, and we won’t be returning. The only positive was that the beer was cold.

The food and cocktails are outstanding, and there's always something new and exciting on the menu.

If you’re a fan of waffles, you should definitely sample anything that features them on the menu. This restaurant has mastered the art of making savory waffles!

Lizzie’s first impression: With its vibrant neon lights, extravagant decor, and an impressive menu offering both brunch/lunch and dinner,

Lizzie enjoyed: I had a fantastic time at Zero Mode—it’s a fun spot for date nights and perfect for sharing dishes with groups.

I visited for dinner and opted for the Feed Us menu, which is surprisingly affordable at just $49 for two people. I was blown away by the tempura cauliflower; it was an absolute game changer! I've never tasted anything quite like it, served in a Thai yellow curry with shredded cheese on top. I also sampled the crispy pork belly baos, which were expertly crafted—the sauce was spot on and the pork belly was perfectly crispy. The karaage was another standout; it featured crispy chicken drizzled with spicy sauce, all atop a bed of fairy floss—definitely the most incredible dish I’ve seen and tasted, and it worked surprisingly well! I also tried the rendang beef, a classic dish that I was eager to sample, and it did not disappoint!

Lizzie did not enjoy: N/A—I’m looking forward to returning to try their breakfast menu so I can provide a complete review.

This cafe has beeen around for sometime i believe, under the new apartment building in cafe, however I have noticed an increase in its social media presence recently. The food here i think is executed really well, and its menu inspired by a fusion of asian and western flavours offers plenty of variety for its patrons, which sets itself apart from cafes that serve your usual eggs benedict etc.I had the 'got beef ' which was simply delectable. The brisket was very soft and effortless to chew, cooked in a sauce that was tangy yet not overpowering, the orange hollondaise added a layer of sweetness and creaminess, top it off with a buttery homemade waffle and you have an amazing dish. Definitely recommend this.I had the wagyu burger which was good, but i thought the wagyu patty was a bit dry and not fatty enough. The truffle mayo and brioche bun were otherwise really nice.Coffee is slightly dissapointing, they use seven seed beans which i know is very good, temperature needs to be slightly hotter, and the milk to coffee ratio is slightly off because the taste of the beans did get lost in the milk. All in all, a really nice cafe that i can see myself coming back to for the food+ worth the hype on social media currently.
