Was Catherine Byrne at Cheese Etc. a mag?
Under new management and it shows! Wider range of cheeses, better options in the cafe, knowledgeable friendly staff, wonderful gelato, chocolates and fudge, fabulous clothes babies to well, anyone really, Depression Era glass pieces, rock crystals and more and a plant nursery next door! Definitely worth another visit! (and don't miss the waterfall down the street and around the corner). View all feedback.

Came for the cheese stayed because of the engaging young man behind the counter! What a wonderful array of home made sauces, jams, pesto...local honey and mushrooms; toasted prosciutto and brie sandwich was to die for, and tomorrow we enjoy the cheese and olives we bought. A visit that just keeps on giving!

A great little cheese shop with an excellent selection of locally grown dairy delicacies. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the stock, able to advise you on your purchase either for your own tastes or as a gift. Furthermore, there is a great selection of fine crackers, drinks, and sauces to accompany. Note, they do not have wine though. I recommend trying the Black Magic Brie, and a company it with a Portello cordial!

This place is definitely worth a stop for the food, sorbet and gifts. I dropped in on a ride with my girlfriend. About $500 later we walked out with an Akubra, clothing, gifts for the kids and a few other interesting bits n pieces. I would be surprised if there isn't something here to catch your eye....update on the food..I think they only have toasties so obviously no chef or cook. Suggest you go to the pub down the road either direction.

This is a lovely spot to enjoy a coffee and some snacks. They have a cozy café that serves food and cheese boards, as well as a small gift shop and chocolate store in the same building. The cheese board for two is definitely worth it—generous portions, and the staff at the cheese counter are incredibly friendly! We will definitely be returning!
