In reviewing multiple customer experiences at a local restaurant, it appears that the overall consensus is quite negative. Issues with cleanliness, lack of maintenance, and poor quality of food have all been raised. While some customers have enjoyed certain menu items like the famous bacon chicken sandwich, others have expressed disappointment with cold, poorly-prepared food. The location is no longer open! It was all boarded up. We had to drive back to Oshawa.
I am puzzled as to why my photos did not serve as sufficient evidence that this establishment has permanently closed for good. What is going on!? ?
We were disappointed to find that the restaurant was closed. We decided to visit the Bowmanville location (even though we live near Oshawa) because it was the only store in the area that sold full-sized chicken pieces. The other stores in Oshawa cut the chickens into more than the standard 9 pieces, resulting in smaller pieces that are even smaller than McDonald's nuggets.
Way overdue for renovation out of date went to pick up something for a friend that was in the hospital and some of the staff for rude and the food was not as I remember it overly greasy soggy fries as I tryed some of my friends food so to she was unsure about it sadly will be taking my business elsewhere. Very disappointed use to be a family favorite in my home
This place is disgusting! Upon walking up, pieces of the roof were all over the ground, we entered the store and they had chicken buckets catching water dripping from the ceiling. As we were standing in line there was no heat in the building, wallpaper hanging off the wall and more pieces of the ceiling missing. We placed our order, it came out they forgot my fries and my chicken had no meat on the bone! My husband’s poutine was ice cold. We took everything back to the counter and got our money back! Will not ever return to this location!
