Great atmosphere. Two of us stopped at 3:00 on a weekend. We sat fast with another couple. The surroundings were clean and the waitress Hazel was beautiful. We were really hungry, so happy the onion soup and salad came out quickly. The shrimps and the chicken Teriyaki ordered with chicken livers. The other plate was scallops and vegetables. A total of 18% tip was included. You're welcome with our experience. View all feedback.
What Candice W doesn't like about Sakura Japanese Steak House:
15 percent added on to go orders while the Togo person sits in here phone in the back of the restaurant. Not paying any attention to the door. WOW! Bad business Long wait in an empty restaurant. I gave this place another try a week ago dining in with a friend. The waitress nails were extremely long and did not look very sanitary so I looked over that. She was only handling the drinks which it took us to flag down the host to bring refills after she took our orders. She vanished and almost never came back. Of course, at the end of the meal, we noticed that she had a tour of 18% which we always tip at least 20 if customer service is good. She was horrible. This will absolutely be my last visit.
The food was really good, the staff was very nice. The bathrooms were really dirty. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
This Sakura location is so much better compared to the others. I've been to the ones in Glen Burnie, Ellicott City, Cockeysville, Laurel, Bel Air, and Annapolis, almost all of them in Maryland, and this one gets an A every time. The restaurant doesn’t serve sushi, but they haven't updated their website to reflect that. It was also quite difficult to get through to them on the phone—perhaps they only have one line? It took a long time to find out that sushi wasn’t available. Overall, it felt like a waste of time.
