Fast service with food and drinks from our initial server male. And then female server came to our table and was very aggressive. Trying to remove plates from our table without asking if we were done. I was, literally, putting food in my mouth and she grabbed my plate. And within mins she was back offering to box up our food. The food here is good. We've recommended it to friends in the past. But we had a recent HORRIBLE experience there. The young female servermanager hovers over all of the servers. The service was fast, with our initial server (male) promptly bringing us food and drinks. However, a female server later approached our table and was quite aggressive, attempting to clear our plates without checking if we were finished. I was still eating when she took my plate away. Within 2 minutes, she returned to offer to box up our food. We had to ask her not to come back to our table and said we would call someone over if we needed help. The restaurant had empty tables, so there was no need to rush us out. The food was delicious, hot, reasonably priced, and served in generous portions.
My wife and I absolutely adore this restaurant! We gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for a personal reason. I enjoy pairing sake with my sushi, and I feel that their sake options could be improved. However, this minor issue won't stop us from coming back. The sushi is incredibly fresh and delicious. The hot towels provided when you first sit down are a nice touch. We particularly love the sushi for two option - it's the perfect amount of sushi and chef's rolls. Keep up the fantastic work!
Exceptional customer service and high quality sushi. If I could move in to the dining room I’d sell my house today. The fish is so fresh I’d swear there was an ocean out back. There have been times in my life when I’ve gotten sushi and felt like I was eating an art project...and those times have been here at Ichiban and out west in Seattle, WA! Please keep doing what you’re doing Ichiban Asian Bistro!
Excellent food! Service was good. A good spot to eat solo, date night or large groups.
