If you're looking for the perfect location for your own... read more I am one of 3 ladies who hosted a baby shower at The Bowers Hotel yesterday. This place is a hidden gem. If you're looking for the perfect location for your own shower or party and asking yourself if this would be a good fit the answer is, hands down, Y E S. We searched the Macungie, Emmaus, Kutztown, even Pottstown areas high low for a good venue but had no peace until we found The Bowers Hotel. Bonnie, the manager, makes everything easy and acceptable. She's happy to help and doesn't make you feel like your questions and requests are a burden that's not the case with all managers; her great attitude was a breath of fresh air. The event server was also above and beyond in her professionalism and helpfulness. She had a great attitude that helped put everyone at ease. The hotel's event room is quaint and charming. It was THE PERFECT place for our baby shower. Everyone had a relaxed, peaceful time in an elegant setting. The ambiance of the room is very satisfying and with the Fall accents we splashed around (orange and yellow leaves, a few strings of LED lights etc. plus lit candles, it created an ideal atmosphere the one you only dream of but don't think exists. All of this to say, The Bowers Hotel is unbeatable. Everyone had a first class experience here.

The coconut shrimp was okay. The waitress was friendly, but overall, the meal felt overpriced for the quality.

The steamed vegetables were cold and quite soggy. The atmosphere was filled with three intoxicated older gentlemen at the bar loudly praising Trump. I would not recommend this place at all, unless you're a local farmer looking for a drink and conversations about racism, and how great the 1950s were. 10 out of 10, do not recommend.

The food is excel... read more Bowers Hotel has consistently been one of my favorite dinner spots. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and casual attire is perfectly acceptable. The food is excellent, with plenty of options on the menu. The bartender is fantastic—well-dressed and friendly. She quickly brings your drinks and follows up with your meal. They really know how to provide great service. If I want to impress a date, Bowers Hotel is always my go-to choice.
