One of Adelaide's best kept secrets it has the best Laksas I have ever eaten. These guys are the Laksa Kings they do not skimp on ingredients you get a full bowl.I have mine with chicken and seafood with a side order of steamed rice to soak up all the juices.I like mine hot and spicy so I ask for crazy hot otherwise it will not be hot.As they are preparing they keep saying one crazy hot Laska coming up.When I am served they say OH here is your crazy hot Laksa. My eyes are wide open with excitement as only a true Laksa lover has when presented with the perfect Laksa. When I am halfway through my Laksa I am full and know I should stop but cannot,I eat until I am about to burst. At the end it is such a sensual experience to have had such a satisfying and filling meal it is overdelicious.I have been going there for more than 10 years
Apparently they are relatives of the family that runs Singapore Delights in Chinatown food court in Adelaide. Food good but I think Singapore Delights better
I decided to have a quick lunch at the food court and opted for the honey glazed chicken with fried rice. I had to inform the server that there was still some room for the huh. I was pleased with the generous portion of huh when it was served to me. The meal was very tasty, with all ingredients fresh and served hot. It was definitely worth the price of $12.50.
So disappointed by the treatment of my mother at singapore delight’s today! my mother went to singapur delights in the adelaide central plaza (in the david jones foodcourt). she ordered a Kway-Teow, paid with a $50 note, and received about $35 change. she said eating was nice, so she went back and ordered 2 x take noodles (1 x kway teow and 1 x hokkien noodles) for about $30 (they paid in cash with a $20 note and a $10 note, their change from the first order). it was not a busy time, and there were only 2 other customers during this time. the lady who served her only brought the Hokkien noodles to her table. my mother cried where the kway teow was, and the dame told her she only bought 1 x noodles. my mother explained that she had definitely ordered 2 x noodles and paid $30. the dame said that she wrote only one order for 1 noodles and refused to give my mother the Kway tattoo she had ordered, because my mother had no quitting (as she was paid in cash and never offered a quitting). my mother was so upset! absolutely disgusting treatment. the dame did not even consider counting the fertilizers that had shown extra money, or think that she had taken the order of my mother wrong. my mother is irritating, well sworn, imaginable profi, who obviously didn't try to cheat $15 of noodles! I can't believe that they didn't just believe they were wrong and give the poor old lady the noodles that they would cost about 2 dollars to make!
