You’ll surely enjoy your time at the riverside garden, under the shade tree... read more The location, view, setting are spectacular. A serene location for a quiet getaway. You’ll surely enjoy your time at the riverside garden, under the shade tree while looking up at Bourscheid Castle. Just majestic. That is, until the neighboring campsite tenants invade. It is a pity there is no control to ensure only hotel guests, who are paying for these amenities, are able to peacefully enjoy them. The half board food service is ample. It’s a reduced portioned meal compared to the menu, but was ok nonetheless to keep portions in check . The first evening the food was not cooked as ordered, but the meals improved markedly thereafter. Olivier was a happy, gracious server and we appreciate his chipper attitude. The rooms are adequately appointed with plenty of storage for your belongings. Open the windows to let the fresh air in, otherwise there is no movement. The beds are hard but the pillows are soft. Overall, the positives outweigh the downsidesespecially if you are able to hear the birds and waterfall.
