Contribute FeedbackToby Carvery presents a blend of highs and lows in its dining experience. While patrons appreciate the prompt service and quality of food, including flavorful roasts and a variety of vegetarian options, several reports highlight significant issues. Problems such as booking mishaps, unkempt surroundings, and loud environment detract from the ambiance. Additionally, some diners note that food temperatures and roast potato textures could be improved. Despite these flaws, the friendly staff and overall value keep guests returning, though many agree it’s not ideal for a special occasion. A refreshingly varied menu remains a key highlight.
Eating was only warm, the presentation of vegetables could be better. yorkshires flat and not crispy.
That could have been warmer, otherwise our party of three enjoyed our meal. the staff is friendly and helpful. parking could be better, I am disabled and need good floors (without bumps and pots. disabled parking is not visible, it's just because I was before, I know where the parking is.
Eating was delicious and the personal greets them always and is so friendly. are you going out for maggie and the rest of the team?
The restaurant was very busy, but the waitress certainly did her best. we were disappointed that there were no apple sauce to accompany the wonderful fried pork.
The adults only had 2 tiny slices of meat. The children had 1 tiny slice. The roast potatoes were clearly left over from the lunchtime. They were shrivelled and dry in the middle and tasted old. All the other veg was luke warm. Not at all like the other Tobys we visit. Will not be returning to the Northbourne one again. Very disappointed.
