However, the very young staff seem to lack consistency and could definitely benefit from more training. The floor felt quite chaotic, with tables missing their orders and no one checking in on us to see if everything was okay. Luckily, when our order finally arrived, it was fine. It took a long time to place and receive our order, and at one point, no tables had been served. My coffee was disappointing; I asked for flavored coffee, but it never arrived. When I reordered, it still came without the flavor, and even after asking for more, it lacked any flavor. Not ideal, but despite the poor service and slow timing, I’m willing to return because the food was excellent! Service: 2 | Food: 5 | Atmosphere: 4 | Price per person: £10–20 | Meal type: Lunch

The coffee was fantastic—defin... read more Last Saturday, my husband and I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at Syd's Slaps, dining outside in the garden with our one-year-old. The coffee was fantastic—definitely the best in SoBo. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, even finding a high chair when they were all in use. It's these thoughtful touches that truly enhance the entire experience.
