China City - Bournemouth

Tldr; command one; they will not be disappointed. I do not often command the disappointment. but a good chinese is hard to beat. this is one of the best Chinese takeaways I've had lately. we ordered a selection of dresses, including hawn chow mine, blackballs, spring rolls and more. all the dishes were nothing but excellent, which is rare in my experience. all flesh seemed good, and everything tasted as you would expect. some takeaways are a firm for the eyes, but the taste does not live up to look similar to all tasting. not so with the Chinese city. I really can't have any of the dishes we ordered, and the delivery was fast and efficient. These young are 100% my way to Chinese when I am in bournemouth from now on. Keep the good work china city, they really deserve this review.

We ordered at 7oclock. The deliveroo app advised we would receive our food by 20:25. This was quite late but we understand because it is new years eve in lockdown so it would obviously be busy. However we then received a message at 21:15 saying our order has been delivered??? It was not delivered. We tried to call and no answer. We spent £60 on our order. Please can someone get in touch with us on 07914819548 to organise a refund and sufficient compensation

Wont be bothering again. Ordered tonight at 6:51pm and still havent got my order. Have called up three times and they're not even answering the phone any more. I understand the demands at the moment but over 2 hours is just absolutely unacceptable.

My boyfriend and I often go to China City when our other regular is closed. He’s always happy with his food but I’m getting quite sick of them getting my order wrong every time we go. I’m not entirely vegetarian but I don’t like meat too much, so I always pick one of the vegetable or bean curd options. I always ALWAYS ask for no mushrooms as they’re the only thing I won’t eat in the whole world. Actually, this evening (they very nearly got my order wrong at first) I went for the normal mixed vegetable curry where there is an option to add mushrooms for 50p, so I said to them “I’d like the mixed vegetable curry but no mushrooms, the usual £4.50 one. Definitely no mushrooms” to which the cashier kept saying yes and interrupting me. We get home and open our food and low and behold! It’s full of them. Once or twice is ok but this literally happens to me every single time we go and I’m getting quite fed up. It’s a good job it’s not an allergy I have.
