Char-grillz - Bournemouth

The food at this restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced. However, the desserts were a bit disappointing. Store-bought desserts are never a hit in a restaurant!

Have been to Char-Grillz a few times, food is well cooked and interesting and the chef and waitresses all very friendly. Previously was a BYO which was a bonus as could take your own choice if wine, however, they are now licenced so this no longer applies. There is no wine list and a bottle of wine is £16.50 which for this sort of establishment seems excessive. I ordered a glass of wine and must say that the quality did not match the quality of the food. Would eat there again but skip the wine.

Meat is cooked to perfection. Juicy as you dream! Wooden tables, open kitchen and a friendly staff deliver the experience.

Have just experienced this restaurant ... What a find! Food was outstanding and staff very attentive ... The starters were great, highly recommend the calamari ! Followed by the most succulent steak we have eaten in a very long time ! If in the area, it's well worth a visit ! 5

We were really delighted to it here last night, wow what a great find. lovely little place with very friendly but professional chef who really cares that you enjoy the food and a super efficient waitress. lovely clean and new decor. we had very tasty starters of meat balls and halome cheese, served with tasty pita bread. For mains i had a really good medium rib eye steak perfectly cooked and the other a great burger,the chips were big good chips lovely side salad with great dressing and more. very impressed and will return. Small place, good atmosphere but nothing flash,most of all great food and service. no licence yet but can take your own wine)
