Accompagné d'un délicieux thé vous pourrez goûter aux spécialités de la maison (hum le gâteau d’Emma, ou le cake succulent). Faire une pause au cak-t c'est comme manger une madeleine de Proust !

Un choix très important de thés et une ambiance très accueillante invitent à profiter des lieux.

The teas on offer are many, and well pres... read more This is a delightful place to stop and recharge the batteries after visiting the cathedral and walking around Bourges. The teas on offer are many, and well presented, and the walnut cake delicious, served with crème anglaise. It is a quirky place, with old fashioned games on the table and tapestries on the wall, all made by the owner over the last 40 years. It is very charming. I couldn’t believe it when, having lost my mobile phone, the owner answered it and offered to bring it to where we were staying on her way home from work. I can’t tell you how grateful I was. Thank you CakeThé!

Too bad you... read more Very cozy place in a beautiful location, a nice back street right next to the cathedral. The desserts were excellent, a very complete tea catalogue. Too bad you can’t try them all! I would definitively recommend this place, and would advise to spend at least an hour enjoying it.
