De passage pour quelques jours aux Arcs, nous souhaitions finir par un bon repas au resto et nous avons été exaucé. La devanture ne paye pas de mine, les 3 petites salles sont décorées traditionnellement type savoyard. La carte est variée sans avoir non plus un choix démesuré (et tant mieux!). Tucked away in the corner near the Belles Challes residence, this jolly restaurant is decorated in Savoie style. This is the place to come if you want simple typical Savoyard dishes, such as Raclettes, Tartiflette and Diots. Portions rather large, and cuisine a bit heavy View all feedback.

We choose this restaurant as it offers all typical Savoyard food we love. The raclette was a large piece of cheese, not the stingy small individual portions doing some other restaurants. All accompaniments were good and the pichet red and rose wine was very drinkable.

From the outside this restaurant does not look much, goes in and yet it has a very unpleasant feeling, red tile tables, very simple. Ignore all this and enjoy the food, the atmosphere and relax. Was here twice, both times pleasant. The staff is fantastic.

After we looked at the menu on the eve, we decided that we would eat here, as we often had the Plancha before snowboard holidays and enjoy it. At the entrance of the restaurant, which was really empty, the smell was exaggerated. When a waitress approached us quickly, we felt that we met the point without return! We have eaten in other typical Savoyard restaurants and are aware that they have a light smell of cheese, this smell was really intense and grim. The strangest thing is not one of the other 3 tables were even raclette or eating fondue! We decided we would eat and go quickly! I asked for a coke zero to say that it only serves coke. The food remembers how quiet it was needed for a while to be served. The meats were served with the bizarre sauces, tartaric acid, grilled cocktails and a curry, of which the meat did not fit, so we left them untouched. We couldn't get the bill fast enough and go. Had better hopes for this restaurant, were disappointed by not only the strange strong smell, but also the food.

This was the first restaurant we ate at during our week’s skiing in Les Arc and we so enjoyed it, that we all voted to return there. A warm welcome and charming service were matched by some excellent food, perfectly cooked and nicely presented. We enjoyed the St Pierre fish, which arrived in a cellophane bag, followed by Crème Brulee but all the other dishes looked good. It may not be the most expensive but it was the nicest restaurant that we found in 1800.
