What Michael Kruse doesn't like about Restaurant Brasserie La Comedie:
I looked for another place which happened to be closed so this alternative was next door. It is a café and the food did not pretend to be more than café food. Honest. Nice quick service and attentive. Nice outdoor serving area was empty due to horrible weather But please change the oil more often. My frites had a very unpleasant taste of old oil View all feedback.
1. Extremely unfriendly staff and management. Unfriendly to tourists. When asked if they speak English, they act as if you have offended them somehow. 2. Some (not sure of selection criteria) customers are treated as potential thieves, by making them pay in advance, while others are not made to pay in advance. 3. Super slow service. Took the server 20 minutes to approach the table. Took another 40 minutes to bring the order. 4. Tables and chairs are placed so close, that can cause claustrophobia even if you never had it. 5. Apart from my own experience, we observed a scene where a parent came in with a child and was refused entry into restroom for not being customer. The child was crying, saying she wants to go peepee . The manager is just a cold-hearted ! 6. Left without finishing our food. 7. Worst experience ever!

We visited Brasserie La Comedie for lunch on our way from Provence to the north. Since it was Sunday, many restaurants were closed and this Brasserie had a full outside terrace, so we decided it must be okay. From the first word the server said to us to the last, he was rude and haughty. We waited at least 15 minutes (and were almost going to leave) for him to acknowledge us and take our order. It takes as much effort to be friendly or rude, so why not be friendly? The food was okay and it appeared there was only one person working the kitchen. The wine was also good. If you have a different option, please stay away from this restaurant.
Very good address. The map changes the ordinary. The wok formulas are nice and quite affordable. the pina colada is perfectly balanced; A delight.
The setting is certainly very friendly, it remains no less that the restoration is not terrible to see not good. very long service and cuisine without flavor. c is very desolating because the decor is very nice and the location on ideal burg. It may be very good to drink just a drink...
