Ti Amo Wood Fired Pizza - Bountiful

We thoroughly enjoyed the calzone and bruschetta at this restaurant!

I was disappointed by this restaurant, especially after reading so many positive reviews. It wasn't awful, but it certainly didn't compare to the best pizza I've had locally, such as Settebello. While it does have its place in the community, I will either make my own sourdough Neapolitan pizza at home or drive a bit further for a superior option.

After my pizza journey during the pandemic, where I made countless homemade pizzas and visited many pizza restaurants, Ti Amo is still my top choice for Italian pizza. The crust is perfectly cooked and the toppings are always fresh. The service is also consistently delightful and friendly. On my last visit, I decided to try two flavors of gelato: guava and pineapple. It was hands down the best gelato I've had outside of Italy! I absolutely adore this place.

We ordered pizza from this restaurant tonight. The pizza itself was average, with a slightly dense crust and light on cheese. However, the larger issue arose when they refused to accept their own gift card. This caused a bit of confusion during the pick-up process, leading my girlfriend to pay for the pizza unexpectedly. When she informed me of the situation, I called the restaurant to speak with the manager about resolving the issue with the gift card. The manager became defensive and refused to provide any information, ultimately hanging up on me. I plan to contact the owners to seek a resolution, and if necessary, will reach out to the Department of Consumer Protection for assistance. I will provide an update if the restaurant decides to honor their own gift card in the future.

Everything at this restaurant is made with love! You can taste the care that goes into their food. The owner is incredibly kind and even sat down to chat with us about her passion for cooking. We will definitely be returning, the food is delicious!
