I saw many comments suggesting that the service was lacking, but our experience was quite the opposite. From the moment we arrived, the staff was exceptionally kind and patient, addressing all our questions. They provided great recommendations and carefully packaged our selections to ensure they would travel well. We never felt rushed, and we left eager to return and try more dishes. I deducted one star because the cupcakes we had were slightly off in texture—almost a bit dry. Nonetheless, we plan to come back and sample more of their offerings. I appreciate that they provide vegan and gluten-free options as well. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I truly hope they thrive in the area.

Absolutely the BEST gluten-free bakery! I loved working here. The treats and breads are incredible and made fresh every day. The owner, Ali, along with the lovely bakers, are very friendly and ready to answer any questions you might have about their products, ordering, or even for wedding cakes. Ali made our wedding cake, and it was delicious—churro, strawberry shortcake, and pumpkin spice. I adore this shop and highly recommend it to anyone who loves baked goods!

I was blown away when I entered this place. The shop is absolutely charming, and everything is gluten-free and celiac-friendly! The food is incredibly delicious and feels like a special treat. You really can't find anything better than this!

I ordered a cake for my wedding months in advance and was planning to pick it up, but when I arrived, they didn’t have it ready and had to rush to make it. A few months later, I ordered a cake for my wife’s birthday and paid for it again. When I went to pick it up that day, they still didn’t have it. The owner was extremely rude and didn’t even apologize. When I pointed out that this was the second time this had happened, she told us that they felt free to not have us return to their business. I couldn’t believe it! They messed up multiple times, and we were told not to come back? I will never purchase anything from this place again. They failed to take responsibility for their mistakes, which is unacceptable. All I wanted was a simple white cake for our small wedding celebration during COVID.

This is an excellent gluten-free bakery, but please note that the location in Kaysville is closed. The Bountiful location is still open, but it is closed on Mondays. Additionally, the Bountiful location requires a four-day notice to order bread. Please be aware that the Sweet Cake Bake Shop website hasn’t been updated.
