What אלנה מלצר doesn't like about Cafe de la Mairie:
by this very beautiful weather I sat at the hour of the aperitif, on the terrace. Some tables already occupied, including one with a little dog. a bowl of water at its disposal. Having a great dog with me, I think he's going to be entitled to his water....I had to wait 10 minutes to see a waitress arrive but my glass was served with cookies. Good point. My dog had been drinking just before coming. So I didn't ask for... View all feedback.
We went into this beautiful caffe which lies opposite the jardin ephemere and the rathaus on the beautiful square of the old city. we sat outside when it was a hot and sunny day. we had some big st omer beer. the service was friendly and attentive. in the early evening on Sunday we have experienced a religious procession. it was a perfect place to relax and rest.
The café de la mairie is so much more than the name already says. as in many French cities, the owners run a successful and welcoming caffe in addition to selling lotterie tickets, zigarettes and letter marks. in the course of the years this is our favorite place for coffee...or chocolate during the day, a beer after a long walk or an apperatif before our evening walk. the owners and employees are inviting and attentive without taking them. the little dog cannelle is an important part of the team and gives their own greeting. the caffe serves breakfast and snacks throughout the day. the beer is particularly good, a selection from a local brewery. there are tables outside that were well used this week as the weather was good. Sit inside is well planned maximize comfort at a small place. It was especially beautiful in this week to see the plant displays that fill the center of the walled city. my man and I look forward to visiting our next!
A small caffe, revitalized with local and tourist, offers a small view of the French life. a simple snack-ish menu and a small selection of be (delicious) and wein (ditto). I've already said this, but if they come to buy in to cite europe, you'll go to lunch somewhere else.
We visited here for a quick lunch and thought it was delightful, the service was fast and efficient and the food was freshly cooked and healthy

All very friendly Coffee (grand creme) good and reasonable priced Toilets absolutely fine and I’m very fussy about toilets. I always send Hubbie...to check first or else I won’t use them!
