My husband recommended we stop here over the weekend after the Art in the Park for lunch. So glad we did. The food was delicious and the service was great. The pit stop is kind of small inside, but feels warm and homey. Our waitress was super attentive and very nice. From what I hear it's a locals favorite. Glad I had a chance to try it out. I had the Philly Cheese steak which was very tender with Caramelized onions on sourdough. The bread was super soft and fresh. Added a side of fries. My fries were fresh, soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. You have to try their fry seasoning it's really good. If your in Boulder City try this place out. You won't be disappointed.
This restaurant consistently satisfies my cravings. It has a cozy diner atmosphere. The prices are quite reasonable; for a group of five, we only spent $65, which is a great deal considering the rising costs everywhere. The service was exceptional. I called ahead and was seated within minutes, even though the place was busy. Normally, I order the Philly cheesesteak, but I decided to try the fish sandwich this time, and it was delicious. The waitstaff is very friendly, and the food arrived quickly. I highly recommend this spot if you're in Boulder City.
Food was good burger was nothing out of this world but good. Prices were nice definitely better than something more in town. But man CLEANLINESS, it was disgusting watching as these servers scratched their legs arms then touch food, grab cash and then again serve food. This is the price you have to pay when eating at more local owned spots. I can't imagine what the kitchen is like. Kids with AirPods in their ear I sound like a boomer but there's a reason why things like that should not be allowed. Kids are running this restaurant and I think that's So cool but there needs to be someone in charge. I was brought here because I've heard great things but this gave a terrible impression and although this business is thriving I'm sure you've lost a lot of people due to this because of your open kitchen concept. give them a hand washing sink.
The Pit Stop is always a go to spot for me when I'm in Boulder City. It has such a great classic, nostalgic vibe that really takes me back. The food is always fantastic and delivered quickly by the friendly, cheerful staff. Their cheeseburgers are absolutely delicious perfectly cooked patties with melty cheese, all the classic toppings, and served on a soft, toasted bun. The shoestring fries are out of this world, especially when you dip them in their tasty ranch dip. I also really enjoy their refreshing salmon salad when I'm in the mood for something a little lighter. What I love most about the Pit Stop is that the food really does taste like it's straight out of the good old days. The flavors and quality are exactly what you'd expect from an old school burger joint, but with a somewhat modern touch. And of course, you can't go wrong with an ice cold beer to accompany your meal. Whether you're craving a juicy cheeseburger, some crispy fries, or a healthy salad, the Pit Stop delivers every time. The service is always friendly, the food comes out fast, and the overall experience just has that nostalgic, retro vibe that I can't get enough of. I highly recommend stopping by the Pit Stop if you find yourself in Boulder City it's a true local favorite for good reason!
This place truly lives up to its name as a pit stop! It's a fantastic spot to enjoy some classic American food, whether you're on your way to the lake or the bank, after visiting the local shops, or simply because the food is excellent. The outdoor patio is wonderful and is kept cool with misting, making it a pleasant place to eat on a hot desert day. They also offer a drive-thru for those on the go! The waitstaff was friendly, and our food was promptly served hot. The seasoned shoe-string fries are a standout—so good that I could easily fill up just on those. The pastrami sandwich is fresh and juicy, piled on top of tasty mac and cheese bites. Our group tried five different entrees, and everyone left with a smile. Highly recommended!
