Came here today for the first time for lunch from the cottage and had a great lunch. Awesome food! The smoked salmon linguini was amazing and the chicken club with BBQ chicken breast and really great fries was really good! What a great spot and find. The waitress we had was very friendly and personable too. We'll be back! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Restaurant l'Huile d'Olive:
The food was subpar and overpriced. We ordered Bruschetta and received two small pieces of bread for $20. The grilled meat we ordered was tough and came with French fries that tasted like they had been reheated multiple times, costing us $40. The total bill came to about $100 per person. The only positives were the restaurant's location by a beautiful lake and the good service. View all feedback.

Had heard great things of this restaurant and decided to take advantage of a beautiful day and went for lunch. Beautiful spot with great food and views. Service was friendly and efficient. We'll return for sure!
For a special meal out we took some visiting family members to l'Huile d'Olive for dinner because the food is always delicious. The weather was perfect to sit out on the deck to eat. We began with a bottle of Chianti which was very nice. My husband started with the soup of the day followed by chicken parmesan with spaghetti and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Our daughter had a large Cesar salad with shrimp au gratin in garlic sauce that she said was fantastic. Our grandson very much enjoyed the linguini and meatballs. I had the lamb shank which I could not pass up since I have had it before and it is truly wonderful. We considered having dessert but were pleasantly full so ended up having their delicious coffee. Dining at this restaurant with its wonderful view, delicious food and great wines once experienced will bring you back again and again.. The staff are always pleasant and knowledgeable and very attentive.
We recently visited the restaurant while on a camping trip on lac 31 milles. This is truly a hidden gem. We could not believe this little place could even exist. The restaurant is rustic chic with it's own wine cellar. You can walk over it on a glass floor. The selections were fabulous with private imports with a fair price tag.The food was delicious. The homemade bread was such a nice surprise. You need to eat here!
We decided to go for a meal to celebrate Father's Day a day early. My husband enjoyed a glass of red wine which was a Chianti and I had a white Pinot Grigio. Both were lovely. The food is always top notch here and this meal was no exception. The in house baked bread was so tasty with a cranberry bread and a regular baguette. We both ordered the soup de jour which was a creamy chicken mushroom. It was really tasty. Both of us had the lamb shank which was cooked to perfection with perfectly cooked vegetables. The portions were very generous. Because we were both full we split the daily dessert which was a mocha ice cream with a shell of lacy dark chocolate and a fruit compote which was a perfect finish to a meal along with a very good cup of coffee.
