Le Biftheque Steakhouse - Boucherville

I have been to Le Biftheque in Montreal and it is wonderful. The meals are huge and service is great. If you want great food, please go to this restaurant. The owner is super wonderful and I'm sure you will agree with the taste of the food. So if you want to enjoy a night or lunch out-go to Le Biftheque.

This is the very best place to get roast beef. The slices come in three different sizes, 8oz, 14oz and the huge 24oz. It comes to the table covered in its own juices with either fries or a baked potato. It is tender, perfectly marbled and melt in your mouth taste. It is the very best roast beef in town. Everyone must try it and you will certainly return over and over again.

It has been a long time since we 've been to Le Biftheque... and I 'm pretty sure this was the last. Last Saturday, a couple of friends and us decided that we would give it a chance and try Le Biftheque 's baby back ribs well advertised special at $15.95/each. What a mess. The minute we told the waiter that we wanted the special; the ;attitude ; changed, and not in a good way...First came the salads, soggy salad drowned with dressing. Then 30 minutes after came the ribs. I 'm NOT exaggerating: in a plate was a ;pile of boiled ribs, splashed on top with BBQ sauce, just like if you would squeeze out BBQ sauce from a Kraft squeezable plastic bottle. NO GRILL. But, since there weren 't much in the plate (and that we have not tasted it yet), we asked for another one immediately. Another 20 minutes passed.... we got another pile of ribs with a little splash of BBQ sauce. The only good thing about this night is that we were in good company, and that the ;oignon fleuri ; (don 't know how it 's called in English) was delicious. So, at $66.74 for some beer, the onion, and those boiled things.

Of all the steak houses in and around Montreal, this is the very best. The best value and the very best steak. The service was superior and the premises immaculate. I highly recommend this restaurant, even though I know it will be harder to get a seat next time. I visit because of its great following.
