It is Ba... read more We visited this wonderful family run restaurant on Thursday. What a gem! The food was absolutely delicious and the service both attentive and charming. It is Basque cuisine and I thought it would be quite rustic. However, it manages to be both a fine dining experience and rustic at the same time. My Catalan is non existent so we decided to go for the set menu which includes both fish course and meat. Delicious course, after course, kept on coming. The restaurant prides themselves on their meat. It's definitely one of the finest steaks I have ever had. Vegetarians you are in for a treat too. Go for the set vegetarian menu. It looked beautiful and certainly the best vegetarian offering I have ever seen at a Catalan restaurant.

The prices are a bit higher than most rural places but the food quality was so high and chef was so good that the price became really good value. I shall most definitely return and would strongly recommend it as a place to visit. Service was excellent too.
