treated the family for lunch for vaters day and had an amazing meal. the flower cheese was amazing, veg and meat perfectly cooked, and the yorkshire puddings were bigger than our youngest head! after numerous visits we finally managed to pudding, but was too full for 1 everyone so divided and happy that we did as the portions are huge. the children shared the warm fudge cake and ice, while the adults shared a wad wit... Nice atmosphere, unfortunately the main course of Baked Salmon was a huge let down, cold sauce, and just served with chips and some leaves, hardly a festive main course very disappointed. View all feedback.
I was on vacation in the area for a week and visited this restaurant twice. The food was excellent and they had a good selection of real ales. The service was efficient, but a few smiles from the staff wouldn't hurt.
Most amazing pub food 5 star rating with great prices. So good we went back for dinner 3 times during our week stay. Pet friendly, cosy and fabulous staff
Went for Sunday lunch with my family, the roast beef was nearly raw and inedabble. We was just given a poor excuse by the management. The vegetables and dessert was lovely.
Food was very tasty, very generous portions. Next time we would ask to be in the restaurant as dogs very close to where we were eating was off putting. 5 stars for food and friendly service.
Options of 3 meat, not nice as full of fat and gristle. Luke warm veg and potatoes were hard. Gave feedback to waitress and when paying no acknowledgement or refund for the bad experience. Desserts are very expensive and have reduced portion sizes. Sorry to say we will not be back
