I had the lammings with all the circumcisions and it was the most beautiful eating I had in an Indian restaurant, my partner had the bhuna and hes so fussy, but he enjoyed it all the way, we also took a ride for my father in the law king prawn curry zwiebel bhajis etc! and that was also 10-10. also the price for meals and drinks was very good. definitiw very recommend this restaurant and we will certainly go back when we visit kirton. that's a real trick. thanks for a nice evening.

The Saffron never fails to produce beautiful authe... read more We have just had another delicious curry in what we would say Is the best Indian restaurant in Boston by far. The Saffron never fails to produce beautiful authentic curries. We ordered our favourite dishes which is the sizzling chicken starter, onion Bhjai and the chilli garlic chicken curry and wasn’t disappointed as all of it was absolutely yummy, lots of flavour and spices. We use to live in a big city where we were spoilt for choice with amazing restaurants however since moving here we have tried different Indian restaurants in and around Boston but none of the other restaurants are half as good as the Saffron that’s why we always return and can certainly say it it definitely our favourite Indian restaurant here . If you haven’t tried the saffron restaurant in kirton village then you need to as you are definitely missing out on a tasty curry.

The atmosphere... read more I debated whether or not to write this review because my wife and I had a completely different experience at this restaurant compared to others. The atmosphere was strange and we were the only customers. The lighting was bright and the seating was arranged like a railway carriage with too much space between tables. We ordered our starters, main dishes, sides, and drinks from a well-dressed man using an iPad. Our order was brought to us all at once by a young and inexperienced waitress. When I mentioned the issue to a man with authority, he said that's how they always serve the food unless requested otherwise. I was disappointed that the starters came with the main course. My Chicken Chaat with Chapatti was served in a crispy battered roll, which was tasty but not what I expected. My wife's Samosa was cold with a strange filling. My Chicken Tikka Methi had a good fenugreek flavor but the chicken seemed more like tandoori and the sauce was bland. When I raised these concerns at the end of the meal, the man seemed uninterested and gave a half-hearted apology. When I realized I was charged extra for a Prawns Puri starter on the bill, I didn't pursue it further. We paid more than other Indian restaurants in the area for a similar meal, so we cannot recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.
