Many patrons recognize the potential for an off day and express a willingness to return. This Indian restaurant/takeaway is one of my favorites. Tonight, we ordered a takeaway menu at 5:30 when they opened, but it didn't arrive until after 7:30. I typically do not write negative reviews, but I was disappointed as the food was not hot and not up to the standard we are used to. Despite this, I believe in supporting local businesses, especially during these challenging times. Everyone has an off day, so I will give them another chance. The staff is always polite and the food is usually very good.
This restaurant was previously known as Massala Zone or Massama Zone, but has been renovated and rebranded as Raj Palace. The interior and staff are nice, but the food is disappointing. My biryani seemed to have been microwaved before being served in a plastic bowl and tipped onto my plate right in front of me. It was obvious that it had just come out of the microwave because it was extremely hot. My companions also were not impressed with the quality of their meals.
My experience at Massala Zone on Christmas Eve was fantastic. The staff were polite and professional, making us feel very welcome. Although there was a wait for our main course, the staff explained the situation and offered a complimentary drink as compensation for the delay. The food was hot and delicious, definitely worth the wait. I would absolutely go back and recommend Massala Zone without hesitation. Thank you to the staff at Massala Zone, we will be back soon.
