We have discovered that this is the top spot for fish and chips takeout in the area. The delicate, crispy batter is spot on. Don't forget to order some mushy peas and the tangy curry sauce. I placed an order for delivery through the app, but after 20 minutes it was unexpectedly cancelled because the restaurant had closed. This was frustrating because the shop hours on the app were misleading. If a shop is closed, they should update their status on the app before they are scheduled to open. I ended up placing a larger order from a different restaurant instead. View all feedback.
Great fish and chips to good preisen pizzas are probably best in town
Best fish and chips in the city, really love their pizza too.
We had cod and chips plus curry's sauce and chilli dip. Delicious! This is high praise, as we are fussy.
Rude staff, don’t even send you what you ordered and PAID for! Then put the phone down on you when advising them!
What an awful experience from this awful chip shop. Ordered well in advance around 1pm, food did not arrive at 6.30pm as requested. Person spoken to at shop was arrogant and rude and not helpful. Food not arrived 20 minutes later and call to complain resulted in more arrogant and rude responses. We gave up but food arrived ten minutes later. Now very, very late. We were hungry so ate. It tasted dry and greasy. Later that evening all of us were quite unwell and queuing for the bath room. NEVER AGAIN.
