Got introduced to this place a month ago. I cannot say enough about how delicious the burritos are. They are so flavorful and wonderful. Of course the food wouldn't be as good if the staff at Villa Mexico wasn't so lovely. What a great group of people. We used their catering service (loaded burritos) for an event this week and our guests were extremely pleased with the food. Everyone asked where the food came from. D... View all feedback.
What Kaia McKenzie doesn't like about Villa Mexico Cafe:
Very disappointed! Stopped by for a late lunch early dinner and I ordered the pork tamale meal with a side of Guacamole. The order took forever and when I finally received it, I walk a few feet up the street to have my meal to discover cold rice and beans, and 2 tamales with a sliver of pork in both.. seriously it was all corn wrapping!!! The only item not disappointing was the Ginger ale! A very very disappointed 19... View all feedback.
I used Villa Mexico Cafe for a catering order for a 30-person event and they were phenomenal. We had to redesign our event last minute and Villa Mexico Cafe was super helpful and understanding. The food was delicious and they were super easy to work. Very recommended for those who have supervised their event.
Delicious food! I had the Burrito it is massive and very tasty and fresh! The staff is always very nice and makes everything very fast! I would recommend getting the chips and salsa too! Although everything I had is very good and worth the price!
On May 4th, in the spirit of Cinco de Mayo, two friends and I went to Villa Mexico for lunch. It was my first time there. It was a little. The staff, especially the daughter of Momma King, was visibly emphasized; I think this is a *especially busy* day for her, and the daughter was atypical to grab with the staff and customers. I just stayed out of my way and enjoyed the show. If I made eye contact with some of the chefs, we would just grin. We arrived at 11:45, hit most of the rush, although about eight people waited for their orders. A friend ordered a Burrito bowl with rice, the other one a burrito, and I ordered two tacos the tinga (shrinked chicken in a smokey red Chile sauce) and the Campechano (a combination of meat, probably beef and pork). The Burrito took most of the time to prepare, so plan accordingly. The Burrito bowl was the fastest, followed by my tacos. We enjoyed all our meals. I thought the tacos were excellent*. Full of fresh ingredients and taste. I liked them even more because they are $3,99 per Friday, instead of $5,99 like every other day. Oh, and as the other critics have noticed, Momma King is the best. She was warm and welcoming, joyful, real and dear. Please do not let the start of my review prevent you from trying this place, each has hard days. Go to dinner and tell Mama King Hello.
Authentic, delicious, and filling. This is a great spot for a quick bite. The burrito is awesome.
Went here for lunch during the week and highly recommend for quick and good quality food. I ordered the carnitas burrito and have to say that it was one of the best I have had in the local area. I like how the outside of the burrito is toasted and melts the cheese on the inside.
