been here multiple times, great place to sit down and get some work done. there is a really good food selection, and the diversity of food types is large. Ive had sakura and it was great. good for a quick bite to eat, little bit higher end than other places. View all feedback.
What emmanuel a doesn't like about The Longwood Galleria:
Lots of fast food places inside: McDonald's, Noodle King, etc. Not the kind of thing you want to visit every day, perhaps. Lots of sitting spaces. Great for a casual hang out with friends. Located across from DFCI and close to the HMS campus. View all feedback.
Good times, parking is tough so don't expect free but hey it's Boston and to be expected. Just a popular part of town and even the garages fill up quickly.
Last evening the lady at the front desk was not very helpful with parking information. This morning the man at the front desk was very helpful with parking clarity. He reported if you go in the public parking lot you have 15 minutes before you have to pay and you can pull up in front of the door in the parking garage and unload and leave without having to pay as long as your not over 15 minutes. The lady reported you have to pay the hour rate of 25.00 after validation at the hotel. She reports you unload in the garage or in the bus lane and cars have to just wait. She also reported once in the garage you have to pay the fee. I let her know we were cancer patients and have free parking at Dana-Farber, she said it didnt matter we had to pay full price. Stressful! When we have free parking at Dana-Farber.
I went to the Cambridgeside Galleria. My friend and I went out on a Cruise through Cambridge and Boston! It was warm weather and I spent most of my time talking with others on the Deck of the Boat because my Friend was inside and watching our backpacks until I went inside and brought my Backpack onto the Deck. I was talking to someone from outside our Country and she brought her Daughter, Husband and Mother for the Day in Boston! Her Mother had a Stroke and we were talking about My Stroke! We all had a wonderful conversation with one another! We found common things to talk about but then my Friend came out onto the Deck and tried getting into the Conversation but she didn't understand what it's like to have a Stroke or Epilepsy! It was still a wonderful time for us because she was actually taking me out for my Birthday Celebration!
I didn't eat there, but it has a decent variety and a CVS, which is convenient.
I've visited this place when I was attending my Mom in a nearby hospital. It opens in morning but not all outlets. Dunkin and Charles are open early. Place is nice and spacious.
