Hidden gem. Unique menu. Phenomenal food. Generous small plates. Friendly wait staff. You will not be disappointed.
This is truly a neighborhood gem. If it was more centrally located, with easier parking, it would be packed. The selection of small and large plates makes for grate sharing and having one's own. Several people loved the soup special. Excellent beer and wine choices. We will go again and again and again. Once we are back to using the T that will take less time than finding a parking place!
We went on the Friday of a holiday weekend. It was pretty empty. We ordered the following small plates: grilled octopus, mushroom ravioli, and gnocchi. Each plate was delicious. We also ordered draft beer and cider which we enjoyed. The service was very good. We would definitely go there again.
Glad to see that you survived! First time back and greatly enjoyed!
The Glenville Stops is an absolute gem. One of the top restaurants in Boston. Located in an unassuming college neighborhood, TGS delivers innovative and diverse dishes with locally sourced fresh ingredients. Their beer and wine list has perfectly curated selections that pair perfectly with any plate you order. Also noteworthy is their vast Trappist Ale selection. Go if you havenât, go again if you have.
