sip caffe is located in a beautiful small park in the middle of the city. I have a salted caramel latte and an almond croissant. the latte was excellent as the drink syrups were not so overlaid that I could not taste the espresso. very well done. the croissant tasted fresh and the mandel could really shine through. What User doesn't like about Sip Cafe:
The $26 cheese plate consisted of diced swede and hard cheese (romano) served in a takeout container with squares of sandwich bread. In response to Jared's question, we requested our food to be served at the restaurant, but instead everything was given to us in togo containers. I will discuss the $26 charge with my colleague who paid for the meal. View all feedback.
This café in a charming little park offers incredible coffee. The all-glass design of the café creates a stunning atmosphere where you can sit and enjoy your coffee, rain or shine.
The restaurant allowed a white group to pay later when their system was back up, but refused to do the same for me even though I only wanted water. They also let someone cut in line ahead of me until I had to assert myself.
I found this randomly and I loved it! It’s a nice surprise in a very lovely area. People were all friendly and the espresso was good (not amazing, but still good). Plenty of seats inside and outside. I’ll surely go back.
The location is fantastic and serene! I truly adore the place. The pricing is a little bit on the higher side, but the drinks were satisfactory. Now, I would like to discuss the staff. On this particular day, there were three staff members working, and the male staff member was the only one not actively engaged in work. As someone with experience in human resources and related matters, I find it rather concerning that he was not fulfilling his duties and was constantly on his phone. It's not good. So many people who want to actually work and you guys have someone like that. It's a waste of money and time. Hire someone who is like these girls who actually are working and these girl were extremely welcoming, unlike him. Update responding to you Jared. This was on Saturday June 8th, 2024
Sip is a delightful destination. It's quite popular, convenient to the Financial District in Post Office Square, not far from anything, really (this IS Boston)... Not having lunched there, I don't have much to say about the food, but they do have a beguiling assortment of goodies near the register, and are quick on the beverage orders. The main attraction for us is the location and situation, occupying the corner of a beautiful miniature version of Columbus Park, a bit reminiscent of Bryant Park in NY without the insanity, a bejeweled green space oasis surrounded by towers of glass, stone and concrete. It's a really terrific experience, especially on a nice day...and they are KIND here. I accidentally dumped an Iced Latte, and they happily replaced it without even being asked.
