Was Archie W at Simco's a mag?
When I place an order over the phone, the man who takes my call can come across as a bit rude, but I've realized it's just his manner of speaking—no offense taken! I typically order the grilled chicken sub and crab meat salad, and the food has been excellent about 90% of the time. The prices are quite reasonable as well. When I go to pick up my food, the lines move quickly thanks to the multiple windows they have for... View all feedback.
What Debbie B dislikes about Simco's:
The service is horrible at night. Very Disrespectful Over the Phone and The Prices are Outrageous this place needs to be investigated Price Gouging at its Finest. The Food was Not Accurate at All they rush you off the Phone then serve you with attitude when they have to correct there mistake. View all feedback.
I didn't try the famous hot dog, but I had the pasta, pizza, and fried dough garlic bread. The pasta with cheese and sauce was amazing and very filling, with a generous portion of pasta and plenty of cheese. I would rate the pizza a 3 out of 4; I only got two slices instead of a whole box, so I can't say for sure if a full box would be different, but those slices were quite large. My wife loved the fried dough, which they cut into strips, and the kids also enjoyed it. Again, they were generous with the toppings. I was surprised to see milkshakes and a lot of other menu items there; I always thought it was just a hot dog place, but they had so much more. I recommend calling in your order ahead of time because this place gets busy, and you’ll have to wait if you don’t. Also, when I visited tonight, they were cash only, so make sure to bring cash. I’m not sure if that’s always the case, but it’s best to be prepared.
This dish was incredibly simple but absolutely delicious! I wasn't in the mood for pasta, pizza, or a sub today, so I ordered grilled chicken, broccoli, and rice. Let me tell you, it was fantastic! You can really taste the char from the grill on the chicken—so, so good!
I'd like to give a big shout-out to this location! I called just before closing, desperate for some food after a night out at the club, and they kindly allowed my friend and me to place our order. The steak tips and rice I had were fresh and absolutely delicious! Thank you, everyone! I highly recommend this place—10/10 for sure; you definitely get your money's worth!
The onion rings are an easy 5 stars. Freshness made from scratch with fresh cooking oil and lightly seasoned.Service: 3/5
I've been frequenting Simcos for years and have developed a good rapport with some of the longtime staff. However, after my experience today, I won't be returning. They're overcharging, which I know for sure because I always order the same items. For one large ice cream, one small ice cream, and a lime Rickey, the total came to $27.00. I'm very disappointed.
