What Cristina dislikes about MIDA:
The service was chaotic. Our server seemed overwhelmed and took quite a while to take our order. After finally placing our order, we waited twenty minutes only to be informed that they had run out of lasagna. As a result, my partner's dish arrived first, and mine came about ten minutes later. Although the food was good, I ended up with a dish I didn't want. Overall, it was a disappointing and unpleasant experience, a... View all feedback.
Food was very good. It’s definitely a younger crowd quite noisy. Service was OK waiter seemed annoyed to be asked about wines on the list, which are not typical. If you’re going to offer for someone to taste a wine before deciding you can’t be annoyed if they don’t like it. Can’t say either of our wines was great, but food made up for it!
Restaurant is intimate but loud. Service was great. We did the Monday Mangia which is a good deal- so much food for the price. The food itself was pretty good but will likely go somewhere else next time in Boston.
Booked for 2 person reservation for a late lunch on Saturday, but one person had to cancel, so solo lunch review. First of all, very accommodating on the restaurant end. The atmosphere was great for lunch/brunch, open, light, and chill. No super loud music. I debated if I wanted to try MIDA for the longest time due to bad experience with SRV, was picturing them being similar. But no, food and service at MIDA were much more honest and pleasant. Carbonara and arancini were simply delicious. Give it a try! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Great service by Travis. He was very pleasant and accommodating with our outdoor seating to make sure our 2 dogs were inconspicuous and also gave them water. He gave us great advice on the menu. Tons of delicious food at a very reasonable price. Monday special is REALLY a fabulous deal. We got to try 5 different specialty dishes with plenty to take home for lunch. My sister and I can’t say enough good things about the place and we’ll definitely go back.
