This restaurant offers a mixed experience with a range of food options. A customer had issues with poorly mixed drinks and a disappointing rack of lamb, while another was impressed with the tuna taco appetizer and fresh oysters. The vibe of the restaurant is praised, and the manager even went above and beyond for a friend's birthday. While some dishes like the Chilean sea bass fell short, others like the chicken and risotto scallops were outstanding. The $1 oyster happy hour is recommended, with overall good food and prices, although some waitstaff may need to improve their knowledge of the menu. Despite some mixed reviews, both the food and service were highlighted positively by various customers.

The restaurant is in the Dagny Hotel Boston and has nice decor and ambiance. Hostess was friendly and we were seated promptly. We ordered clam chowder and mussels for our appetizers and the chicken and lobster ravioli for our mains. We were only halfway through our appetizers when the main courses showed up. The table is small and I was surprised they continued to squeeze them onto the table. We were literally leanin... View all feedback.
What John Alhelm dislikes about Fin Point:
Seating was so close together you couldn’t have a decent conversation with your partner and the service was mediocre at best. The online menu was also different than the in restaurant menu and the dish we were most excited for wasn’t on the menu anymore. What we did eat was very good though. View all feedback.

Really enjoyable dinner. Lobby of hotel but well appointed with high ceilings and comfortable chairs. Had cocktail and wine, all very good. Tuna tacos were outstanding and substantial. Also had grilled peach salad and lobster sliders which weee delicious. Definitely a recommend from me.
For the pierce the food is just meh. Bacon was over cooked and super sweet. The potatoes were dry and even the ketchup in the cup was so hard from sitting out for who knows how long. Spent 55 dollars for a breakfast that is less than a Waffle House. Notfresh at all. Service was good and that was all that was good here.
Had lunch at the nicely appointed restaurant with two other diners. We had shrimp cocktail $5 a shrimp); scallop cerviche ceviche should never be paired with other food which is warm in temperature; beet salad with herbed goat cheese, Candiedwalnuts and Frisee. The salad dressing was utterly delicious but I would have liked some salad greens along with Frisee. We alsohad the roasted peach salad with heirloom tomatoes. Overall the meal was just OK.
