Meatballs are definitely one of my favorite foods, so I went in with high expectations—and I'm happy to say they were not only met but exceeded with the variety of meatball flavors offered. The reason I'm giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 is that they don’t have a liquor license. Although they make an effort to create interesting non-alcoholic drinks, the cocktails tend to be on the sweeter side, more like cordi... View all feedback.
What Danielle Romaguera doesn't like about Certified Meatball Company:
dissatisfied with our experience. the waiter was overwhelming, to the point that we all felt uncomfortable. eating was good, but for a lack of better words, strange. our meals were served on teeny tiny plates. the portions were in order, it had simply felt as if we were eating from the teller of the child. we ordered dessert and tasted/served as if it were made before weeks. the concept is interesting, only not deliv... I made a reservation a month in advance for lunch/brunch with 2 friends. Upon entering the restaurant, we were asked to pay a $10 cover each, which was never previously disclosed. Our waitress didn’t greet us for at least 15 minutes and when she did, she just poured waters and didn’t ask for our drink order. When we finally had a chance to place a drink order, we were told they were out of champagne and strawberry purée. It was 12:30pm on a Sunday. The drinks came in plastic cups and when we asked for glasses for our beers, we were told no. Our food took quite awhile to arrive. It was lacking flavor, but presentation was great. Service took very long and we felt as though we were being ignored. It was an unenjoyable and expensive experience. Will never go back or recommend to friends.
The service is impeccable with the waitress/ front of house going the extra mile to make sure the food is cooked.
Not much to say...disappointing. Ambience has a cookie-cutter feel of a franchise. Meatballs ok. Salad excellent.
Went during a snow storm. Perhaps understandably, service was short staffed and it took forever for entrees to arrive. Service aside, food was just ok.
It was March 9th, national meatball day. We went to celebrate and were presently surprised by the crowd, music, and food. Normally, when we walk by the establishment the seats at tables are empty. One time I even think I saw a tumble weed roll by. But the staff knew how to prepare for their national holiday.
