Carrie Nation - Boston

Initially had some hiccups with reservation taken at 9:30pm but kitchen closes at 9:45pm. Not sure why they took a reservation at 9:30pm if that’s the case. Chef didn’t want to take order and lacked customer centricity. Nevertheless, the manager intervened and was accommodating and made sure to rectify the challenges from shortcoming in service. Offered complimentary drink to smooth things over.

Terrific dinner with the kids. Food was super and ambience is lovely. Left before DJ set up, so noise was not an issue.

The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere and the service was good. It was not very busy on a Wednesday night. The drinks were delicious but on the lighter side. The heirloom tomato salad was a letdown as it only had a couple of small pieces of heirloom tomato. The salmon was average and nothing remarkable. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place for the food.

Our server gave the impression that we would be taken care of for my 21st birthday and insisted on a round of shots, implying that they would be comped, and then charged us 44 dollars. The staff was very defensive when we brought this up, would not go again due to the service.
