Food was perfect!! We came to Boston for a thanksgiving trip with our children. No where was open for food!! Unless you wanted a rubbery gas station hot dog and candy. Canton Eatery was open so we went in person to place our order. They were very helpful, quick and delicious. And we got 2x the food we would have gotten in Maine, for 1/2 the price!!!! Thank you!!!!
The food was absolutely perfect! We visited Boston for a Thanksgiving trip with our kids, and we found that most places were closed. The only options available were rubbery gas station hot dogs and candy. Thankfully, Canton Eatery was open, so we decided to place our order in person. The staff was incredibly helpful and quick, and the food was delicious. We ended up getting double the amount of food we would have in Maine, all for half the price! Thank you so much!
The owner was very pleasant, and the food was good. It's a small place, but the atmosphere was lively with the locals.
I want to share my honest thoughts on my experience at Canton Eatery. Having lived in Hong Kong for a year, I can confidently say this is not authentic Cantonese cuisine. First, my order was incorrect. Secondly, the rice was brown, had an odd smell, and lacked flavor—definitely not the fried rice we all know and love. And the pork? It had a strange color, taste, and smell. I really hope the cooking improves, as this meal was unfortunately not worth it.
