The restaurant has a relaxed vibe that brings back memories of places I visited in NYC. The portion sizes are generous, and the iced coffee is excellent. I chose this spot after noticing a line at Cafe Bonjour, and I’m glad I did! View all feedback.
What Alphonso Zemlak doesn't like about Café 26:
The shakshouka was very underwhelming. I expected the eggs to be placed on top of the dish and finished off there but they were cooked separately and then placed on top. Small portion considering it’s one of their pricier brunch items. Otherwise they got us in quick (about 5 minutes) for a table of 3 since Cafe Bonjour had an hour wait. Probably my favorite breakfast spot in town. So far everything I've tried has been top-tier and the fresh squeezed orange juice is delectable. The room is a little cramped, has limited natural light, and can get warm in the summer, but all of those complaints are easily forgotten once your plate has arrived.
A good place for breakfast. First the staff are friendly. The host got us a table right away. Though the place is tight but it is worth it. The food taste really good. I love my French toast stuffed with strawberries. The omelette also really good. The service is fast. I highly recommend to try this place. I definitely would take my breakfast again in the is place before I leave back to Florida.
Very good breakfast . French toast and pancakes were very good. Eggs were also on point. Def recommend if you are in the area for breakfast. We were staying at a hotel nearby and had breakfast there. Price was very reasonable.
The food was good, served very fast and we had a good time. During the weekends the restaurant is at full capacity!
Simple but delicious diner food. The fresh squeezed mint lemonade was delicious. The home fries were also good.
