The Phoenix roll was excellent as well. They have a great selection of drinks. I saw that they had a Japanese whiskey on tap. I need to come back and try that. We ended our culinary journey with banana Nutella gyoza. Just wow. It was served warm and the Nutella with banana tasted amazing.

It tasted li... read more I've been to Basho Japanese Brasserie twice once with family and once with friends. The cocktails were a hit or miss. I don't recommend the Fen Zu. It tasted like cleaning solution. Whenever I go to Basho Japanese Brasserie, I stick with Hot Green Tea. The food and service were always good. Some of our favorite appetizers are Pork Belly Steamed Bun, Shishito Peppers, Agedashi Tofu, and Robata items (e.g., Negi Chicken, Chicken Thighs, Kobe Sliders, Eel). Some of our favorite rolls are 1338 Roll, Summer Roll, and Shrimp Tempura Roll. Some of our favorite dinner entrees included their Maki and Nigiri Platter, Sashimi Dinner, Miso Yaki Dinner, and Pork Ramen. Our favorite dessert is the Banana Tempura.
