I also ordered a Manhattan on the rocks, but what I received was a red drink in a martini glass. I questioned the bartender about the color, thinking she might have accidentally served me a cosmopolitan. However, she explained that she always adds cherry juice to her Manhattans. I informed her on how to properly prepare a traditional Manhattan, and she did her best to accommodate, although they didn’t have any dark cherries available. While it's a pleasant spot for a quick drink with friends, it might not be the best choice for a meal, especially for those with Celiac disease or anyone seeking well-crafted cocktails.
The food is outstanding, the drinks are refreshing, and the atmosphere inside and outside is fantastic. The staff are incredibly friendly and courteous. My waitress was especially warm and attentive, even when the restaurant got really busy, and she always had a smile on her face. She took care of everything for me. I wish I had her name to thank her properly, so I hope this somehow gets to her. 5/5!
This is a great restaurant to check out if you're in the area. The service was a bit slow, but it was definitely worth the wait. The atmosphere is really cool, and I love the building and the overall vibe of the place. If you're near Government Center, I highly recommend stopping by!
Was there around 5pm on a Thursday after work. First impression, great place. It filled up quickly and became so loud that I couldn't hear my colleagues. I ordered nachos for the table, which were enjoyed by all, which was great, but I couldn't eatthem because they fry the chips in the same oil as non-gluten-free foods. I ordered a Manhattan on the rocks but received a reddrink in a Martini glass. I asked the bartender why it was red, thinking she'd accidentally given me a Cosmopolitan, but shesaid she always pours cherry juice into Manhattans. Um, no. I told her how to make a traditional Manhattan, and she did herbest, which I appreciated, even though they didn't have dark cherries. Nice place for a quick drink with friends, but not theplace to go if you are a foodie or Celiac or looking for well-crafted cocktails.
