We have been coming to eat tapas at Urtau for a very long time. Today, very disappointed by the formula which is more of a fast food than a tapas bar. Very slow service, inability to explain (in Spanish or Catalan) the composition of the dishes, a LIQUID Catalan cream .... Very good food, especially the bar skewers, and the eggplant sticks, with impeccable service and depending on what you order if you do not control with a medium, high or very high final bill, but the place is recommended

Worth the detour: go your way! I have known this place for 30 years. I enjoyed it very much, but it is only a shadow of itself: non-existent welcome, poor quality cuisine, unpleasant service and prices that do not correspond! Snails in sauce, in their shell, are eaten with your fingers and no finger rinse! Catalan cream seems like canned custard not even cooked! Any request annoys the waiters: knowing the composition of a dish (request made in Spanish) did not get an answer! We only knew that in the salad there was an egg. The prices are no longer related to a tapas bar, and even the quality is not there! Run away!
