This place is fab. Young enthusiastic and talented staff. Perfectly cooked fish and fine wine selection. Portions are small so order generously. You won’t regret it washed down with a glass of Picpoul! View all feedback.
Great tasting, beautifully presented. possibly had the best economical ever. loved the Asian fusion with fresh local ingredients. beautiful atmosphere and a great evening, sitting outside enjoy great eating in a fantastic location. thank you for taking chip (the dog).
I was highly impressed. If the future of catering in this country is in the hands of the likes of this delightful group of young people, then it is in good hands. Second to none. If I had to choose my favourite dish (not easy), it would have to be the Wild Sea Bass Sashimi exquisite! Just suffice to say “In future, when in the West Country I will not feel the need to drive to Padstow or Port Isaac for fine dining”
Outstanding! We had the Chilli Margaritas to start with Fresh Oysters Scallops, the Smoked Peas! My days! The service was second to none and the flavours from the kitchen are the best you’ll find outside of London. We are staying in the area for a few days and will definitely be coming back before we leave. There’s more on offer than the hearty Pub Grub in the area, dine here for a really memorable experience.
Genuinely fantastic food after a good walk from Tintagel. My favorite will have to be the sashimi sea bream which was blow torched. The texture and flavor is spot on. As someone who is extremely picky with sashimi, I would not hesitate to order it again. The porthilly oyster, scallops, and mackerel are also excellent. The seaweed butter on the scallops is pure crack. I had a side of cabbage, which I relentlessly dipped in the seaweed butter. This is my first time having porthilly oysters, and I found the briny sweetness absolutely wonderful. It did not have the strong sea flavor that some usually find off putting about oysters a testament to the freshness. I 'm a huge fan of mackerel, and I loved every last bit of the crisp skin soaked in the tangy sauce that it came with. The flavors for all the dishes are certainly on point
Excellent food, first class service, pleasant atmosphere. The little building is quirky and I love what they've done with it! We sat outside there were blankets and heaters. The tables are long so you are sharing with others but each group is separated by plants which is a great idea. The prices are quite high but worth it for a bit of a treat. Would definitely recommend.
