As a vegetarian, I have my difficulties in getting friends with the German home cooking, but my parents and grandparents are always enthusiastic about the dishes. There are strikingly large portions for small money. The service is always family friendly and also the outdoor area is designed with light bulbs in the summer months. Definitely a recommendation for cyclists and sailors. In addition, the Aukrug is also the venue for concerts and acting, which are always well visited.
