The food is good, you can enjoy the salads the gambas al ajillo, big gambas really, the chess from Castellon and a good selections of wine. But really I think their speciality are the paella, and they’re good but the suppose to charge a little less just a little.
I came back to this restaurant after a while to celebrate an event with former work colleagues. We had agreed on a menu before hand which was very much worth it. Two starters and a salad, two different kinds of rice. The desserts menu had been renewed so we ordered extra desserts to sample them. We spent a wonderful day enjoying the food, views and the ambience. The service was great, as always. All in all, it's a MUST for small celebrations.
Highly over priced, small portions and over salted. Main Food came at completly different timings. Orders of drinks in between never arrived. Fruendly helpfull staff yet Chaotic service. People who ordered the solomio left hungry, paella okay but very salty. No veggitarian options at all.
This restaurant should work, but it would be an understatement to say that it really, really does not. It has a good setting at the end of the harbour, and does enjoy a fine view over the coast. BUT and it is a huge but the food was completely underwhelming, and very expensive for what it was. Granted, my partner's rump steak was quite well cooked and presented. But I opted for seafood, and it was a bad choice. 7 clams on a bed of shredded lettuce, for 12 euros. 24 cockles, on a similar bed of shedded greenery, 5 of which were not open and hence inedible: also 12 euros. I left hungry and disgruntled. It was a Friday night, and we were the only people in the restaurant. It's not just that locals don't use it. Nobody seemed to that evening. The only good thing was the service. When I muttered about the closed cockles, we were offered a liqueur on the house. There was a storm that evening, and we asked for a taxi. The waiter said no taxi would come out for the short trip to the hotel, so (the restaurant was empty! he drove us back himself, and refused a tip, though we did insist. A charming man. He should get a job somewhere else, soon, I would suggest.

"I think it's a high-priced pelin but the quality of the genre is too. If I go back to burriana, I'm going back, I ate a spectacular black rice, though..."
