Really incredible course. Had a few odd spots on the course that needed attention but only because 99% of it is in fantastic shape. It’s a fun forgiving but shot testing layout that you can play long or short depending on what challenge you want. Long, winding drive to get here from San Diego but well worth it for how fun this course is. The whole compound is impressive and has a lot to offer from practice facilities... View all feedback.
What Scott Sullivan doesn't like about Rams Hill Golf Club:
Well maintained ,beautiful course ...if you don't mind waiting on every tee box and every fairway ...over priced for the pace they need to go to 12 or 15 minute tee times ....at times there were two and even three groups waiting on a tee box!!! And when I questioned the club house after my round the guy was a complete A hole ...I will never play there. Again and don't recommend it ea View all feedback.
The course is well-maintained and beautiful, but be prepared for long waits at every tee box and fairway. I found the prices to be excessive given the slow pace of play, with tee times every 12 to 15 minutes. At times, there were even two or three groups waiting to tee off! When I brought this up to the clubhouse staff after my round, the response was quite rude. I won’t be returning to this course and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
I absolutely love this place! It's situated in a peaceful, remote location—exactly where you want to be. It's truly a fantastic escape, serene and picturesque. The golf course is a lot of fun and offers a unique experience that never gets dull.
We adore this restaurant so much that we drive all the way from Rancho Berardo just for lunch. We return not only for the stunning view, but also because they have a golf range and a beautiful course.
I had an amazing experience at this golf course. While there were a few areas that could use some maintenance, the majority of the course is in excellent condition. It offers a fun and forgiving layout that still challenges your skills, allowing you to play it either long or short depending on your preference. The drive from San Diego is long and winding, but the enjoyment of this course makes it absolutely worth it. The entire facility is impressive, featuring great practice areas, a clubhouse, and a restaurant. I'm definitely planning to return, which is something I don't often say about courses that are far away.
What a wonderful gem to find in the desert near Borrego Springs! It's definitely worth the drive just for the stunning views. As you can see in the photo, it has received an award, so I'm not the only one who thinks it's fabulous. There’s plenty of parking available too. I’ve heard that the course is even more challenging on windy days.
